Reflection

In this episode, Myke and I discuss the nature of reflection (self and otherwise). The idea that reflection is as much looking at the present and planning for the future as it is thinking about the past. By taking the time to reflect on where we are, we can better see where it is we want to be. Reflection is often about evaluating the now against the then. By reflecting on where we were, we can easily see if we have grown beyond. That, perhaps, all of these tweets, status updates, etc. are opportunities for such reflection.

I Have To Run

In this episode, I talk to Myke about my training and running regimen as of late. Ive been training for something really kind of crazy. Perhaps the hardest physical test of my life. It should surprise no one that I try to take an "enough" approach to this as well. No fancy gym memberships for me. No fancy diet. I have been trying to fit it into my life wherever I can and take a balanced approach to my eating.

Also, please forgive the noise. There was a crew outside working on the sewer as we recorded this.

As I’ve said before, folks, I’m no guru and have plenty of areas where I struggle with this stuff.
